Hero Day
Today was Hero Day at school. The teachers and students put on a little ceremony honoring the local firefighters, police, and military. It was pretty special. While walking into the school, I took a picture of the pinwheels for peace the students made…
and the heroes vehicles…
The students sang a few songs with a slide show and special speakers.
The kids all made homemade cards for the various heroes which they handed out as the heroes paraded around the school.
Then the kids joined Dad in the reception area for some juice and cake.
It was a special way to remember.
